REVISED PARKING PLAN FOR SAT 5TH / SUN 6TH OCT

Due to waterlogged car parking fields, there is NO ONSITE PARKING in Killruddery on Sat 5th Oct or Sun 6th October.

Cars will instead be safely parked in one of two nearby locations:
1.  the IDA Business Park on Southern Cross Road (with shuttle bus); and
2. the old DELL site on Vevay Road (for 16KM participants only).

Please therefore be aware of the following:

CAR POOL
With a limit on the number of car parking places available, we request that everyone car pools where possible. So if you live close to another participant, please meet them in advance and travel together. It will make the journey both before and after more fun - plus it will save you the €10 car parking fee!

BRAY DART SHUTTLE BUS (SAT ONLY)
We have a shuttle bus running from Bray DART Station to the main gates of Killruddery all day on Saturday so if you live close to the DART, we request that you take this option of travelling to Bray - a return DART Shuttle Bus ticket costs €5.

SECURE VALUABLES
Once onsite, there is a Secure Valuable Drop in the Lambing Shed for your car keys, mobile and wallet. You should leave your kit bag with towel and change of clothes in the Changing Rooms - PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES IN YOUR KIT BAG. Click here for more info about the onsite facilities.

EXTRA TIME NEEDED - 90 MINS BEFORE WAVE
As you can see from the revised car parking map, it is a 10-15 min walk from the Killruddery Main Gates to the Registration Tent, while it is a further 10 min walk to DELL car park or 20 min walk to the IDA car park (where you can also take a free shuttle bus). Therefore make sure you arrive in Bray at least 90 mins before your wave start time for the additional car parking time. So if you are due to start at 11:30, you should arrive at the car park at 10:00.

LIVE PARKING UPDATES
We will be posting live updates on the car parking situation over the weekend on our Facebook and Twitter accounts so please follow us on Social Media to find out the latest info, including which car park is open for you. There will also be large display screens along Southern Cross Road informing drivers of which car park to use, as well as members of An Garda Siochana and Parking Marshals directing cars. Please arrive in plenty of time, obey the marshal instructions and be patient!!!

SUMMARY

This is the first time in 8 years running HELL & BACK in Killruddery that we have to implement this back up car parking plan so we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused. As mentioned above though, the course is fantastic - so please bear with us as we try to get you safely to and from your car!
