Take on the HELL & BACK 8KM on Saturday, 7th June 2025 – Ireland’s most thrilling and exhilarating obstacle experience!
We have arranged a specific start time just for individuals and solo adventurers. We’re bringing all participants without prearranged teams together in one specific start time, so you’ll have the chance to meet like-minded people, share the experience, and make new connections as you conquer the course.

Stunning Location: Set in the breathtaking surrounds of Killruddery Estate, an 800 acre working farm, in Bray, Co Wicklow, just 40 minutes from Dublin city centre.

Perfect for All Fitness Levels: Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-timer, HELL & BACK is designed to be fun, inclusive and accessible to everyone. Some take 1.5 hours to complete the 8KM course, others take 6 hours - do it at your own pace!

What You Need to Know

Start Time: This group of like-minded individuals will start together at 13:10 so you must be onsite at least one hour beforehand to register, get your wristband, leave in your valuables and attend the 10 minute warmup.

How to Get to Killruddery: You must make your own way to Killruddery and arrive by 12:10. Here is the Google Map link.

DART Shuttle Bus: If you are travelling by DART, you can buy a shuttle bus ticket from Bray DART Station to the IDA Business Park on Southern Cross Road, which is a 15 minute walk to the Registration Tent / Event Village / Start Line, for €9 return as part of your ticket / registration.

Parking: If you are travelling by car, you can pay €9 per car for entry to the car park as part of your ticket / registration. Follow the signs upon approach to Killruddery for the correct car park to go to.

What to Wear: Comfortable, weather-appropriate sportswear that you don’t mind getting muddy. Strong footwear is essential due to the underfoot conditions with trail runners or astro boots recommended.

Parking & Facilities: Ample parking, changing facilities, valuable drop and food stalls will be available on-site. Full details will be emailed to participants in advance of the event.
