HELL & BACK Junior is a fun and exhilarating 3KM obstacle challenge for national school children aged 8-12 seeking the ultimate outdoor adventure!

Taking place on Saturday 31st August 2024 and exclusively for children, H&B Junior is ideal for Sports Clubs, Scouts Groups and School Friends!

With Ireland's Fittest Family also filmed onsite in Killruddery, many of the obstacles on the H&B Junior course are featured on the hugely popular TV show, including Hell on Earth, Black Pearl, Tyre Zone and the infamous Halfpipe Finish Ramp!

This H&B Junior course includes the hugely popular Splashzone series of water obstacles. All children are fitted with a buoyancy aid while in this zone and if they are non-swimmers, they will be directed around it.

SPLASHZONE

One of our most popular obstacles on the HELL & BACK Junior course is Splashzone on the Lake in the centre of Killruddery, which consists of a seriers of water obstacles including the Water Jump, Pontoon Mania and Splashdown Slide.

From a water safety perspective, all children are fitted with a buoyancy aid when they get in the vicinity of the Lake, while our team of lifeguards patrol both from in the water on kayaks and from the bank.

If your child is a non-swimmer or doesn't like water, they obviously don't have to do this section and will be directed around it.

Specators can also walk up to Splash Zone - simply follow the signs along the road from the Lambing Shed. Please note though that the Lake is in the heart of Killruddery and approx. 15 min walk from the Event Village - so you will need to be quick afterwards if you want to get back and see your child cross the Finish Line!
