This Saturday 21st September, thousands of Hellraisers will be taking on the HELL & BACK 8KM course and, as we gear up for the big day with an expected 1,500+ cars, it's essential to plan your transportation wisely.
To ensure a smooth and organized experience for all participants, we have devised a comprehensive car parking plan that will alternate between two car parks throughout the day:
IDA Business Park on Southern Cross Road; and
Grass Fields in Killruddery.
In the spirit of eco-friendliness and maximising space, please carpool wherever possible. Sharing a ride not only reduces traffic congestion but also minimises our carbon footprint.
You should arrive and park AT LEAST 45-60 MINUTES before your allocated start time to allow you register, drop your car keys into the Secure Valuable Drop in the Lambing Shed and familiarise yourself with all the facilities and services in the Event Village before you start on your H&B adventure.
CAR PARKING PLAN
Due to limited access and egress, parking is both in the nearby IDA Business Park on Southern Cross Road and on the grass fields in Killruddery. Please follow the Visual Display Signs on your approach to Killruddery for your designated car park, have patience (it will be very busy!) and obey the instructions of our car parking attendants who will guide you to an available space.
As you can see from the map below, for those of you who will be parked in the IDA Business Park on Southern Cross Road, while you have a 10 minute walk to and from the Start / Finish Line, because you are exiting onto a Roundabout, you will get away quicker than those parked in Killruddery.
PRE-PAID PARKING
If you have already pre-paid for your parking, bring your QR Code with you on the day and, for speed of access, have it available for the parking attendant to scan.
If you haven't yet pre-purchased your car parking ticket, you can do so by clicking here and paying €9 per car. Alternatively, you can also pay €10 at the gate. Note that cash is much better for speed and efficiency so, if you need to pay on the day, please arrange a trip to your local ATM in advance and bring a tenner with you!
NB: AIM TO ARRIVE AT 45-60 MINS AHEAD OF YOUR ALLOCATED START TIME
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
We have a limited number of parking spaces in Killruddery designated for individuals with limited mobility. For more information, please email peadar.niland@aliveoutside.ie. Spaces are allocated on a strict first-come, first-served basis.
